TMAP® Organizing Built-in Quality at Scale
Why is this training course relevant?
In today’s IT world cross-functional teams are expected to deliver business value with the right quality at speed. TMAP® supports this new way of working towards built-in quality which goes beyond just testing.
Organizing QA & and testing requires orchestrating, arranging, planning, preparing and controlling the activities. This training course enables professionals who are responsible for organizing QA & and testing to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to enable teams to achieve quality ownership.
This training course is based on the book “Quality for DevOps Teams” and the TMAP body of knowledge on www.tmap.net.
During this training course, the participants (who typically are involved in organizing, structuring, and scaling the IT delivery process) will get knowledge and practical experience with the following QA & and testing subjects (amongst others):
- IT delivery models (incl DevOps, Scrum and SAFe®)
- The VOICE model for achieving business value by IT delivery
- CI/CD pipeline and tooling
- QA & Testing topics, such as:
- quality & test policy
- monitoring & control
- anomaly management
- reporting & alerting
- estimating & planning
- metrics and continuous improvement
- Organizing quality engineering overarching multiple teams
- End-to-end testing within a team or over multiple teams
- Quality characteristics and test varieties
- Personal, interpersonal and team skills for effective collaboration within and across teams.
The training course lets participants get experience on these subjects through short introductions followed by relevant exercises and leaves ample room for sharing experiences by all participants. During the course, the participants will also practice exam questions.
This training course is for all people who are involved in organizing high-performance IT delivery (such as DevOps and Scrum). This includes roles such as scrum masters, agile coaches, release train engineers, test managers, and test masters.
Other relevant roles include QA professionals, testers, business analysts, product owners, developers, quality engineers, users, operations people, etc.
Required advance knowledge
For this training course basic knowledge of information technology, working in teams and an Agile way of working is required. There are no specific certifications required but we strongly advise to first get the certificate “TMAP: Quality for cross-functional teams”.
Certification and exam Certification:
All participants will receive a certification of attendance and will prepare for taking the certification exam.
This training course prepares for an exam for which separate registration is needed. The exam is: “TMAP: Organizing built-in quality at scale”.
This is a 1,5-hour exam with 40 questions.
The exam is provided by the independent exam provider iSQI.
